Day 4 of 21 Days of NO COMPLAINING

Greetings Everyone,

I have just a few comments this afternoon. (EST)

For those folks who have complained and have not yet gotten back onto the no complaining train:  I URGE you to jump back on board.  It’s in the effort you will find the rewards.

For those folks who are tempted to give up because complaining is something you are continually drawn to…here’s a suggestion:

DON’T give up, keep doing this for the committed time period (21 days) and if you must assign yourself a ‘groaning and moaning moment.’ Let that ‘moment’ be as long as you think best…5 minutes, maybe 15…however long, let it be clearly designated ahead of time and complain ONLY at that time.

Another suggestion – WRITE your complaints out on paper.

For those folks who are meeting the challenge each day and are actually having fun with this, PUMP UP the volume and challenge yourself in some way. (not that fun isn’t good, it’s very very good) When you challenge yourself and stretch outside your comfort zone you receive the greatest rewards and benefits.

Perhaps have more challenging conversations or take on things that might usually illicit discomfort. How about giving compliments to “challenging” people (folks you might ordinarily avoid.)

I wish you all a MAGNIFICENT day!

Oh – for those joining yesterday, here are the previous messages: Day 3 Message Day 2 Message Day 1 Message Getting Ready – some vital suggestions

Remember to create a habit you need to do a thing, at minimum 21 days straight.

God Bless!

  1. Hi to everyone! This challenge is thoughtful and soothing to the body. Although it is difficult to keep up sometimes, I feel I am more aware of my thoughts and what comes out of my mouth. I am trying hard to keep from complaining, good luck to everyone out there.

    • Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for the good wishes. Awareness is one of the main benefits of this journey!
I haven’t heard it quite said this way “This challenge is thoughtful and soothing to the body” …I like that a lot! Thank you.
      Best to you,
